Brother Dwight F. Brownlee has been happily married for 26 years to his wife, Renae. They have 3 children - Anthony (wife Kim), Chris and Jo’Nelle and 2 grandchildren.

Since his baptism in the fall of 1974, Brother Brownlee has been faithful to learning about his responsibilities of serving the Lord. Under the watchful eye of the teaching staff of the midtown Church of Christ in Racine, WI.  He began teaching at the age of 12. Under the supervision of Ralph Moore [Deceased} and Howard Puryear, Brother Brownlee began preaching the summer of 1980.

He served 4 years active duty in the United States Air Force, and then began working with Bro. James Walker, Emeryville Church of Christ, in Emeryville, CA, as the assistant minister in 1987. After 4 years he moved his membership to the Uptown Church of Christ in San Francisco, where he worked closely under the leadership of the Elders and Brother James Austin. He was appointed as the Asst. Minister, until his move to Memphis in 1995.

Upon his arrival he worked with Brother William Jones and the Boulevard Church of Christ as an active member of the teaching staff until he united with the now South Germantown Rd Church of Christ. He worked as the Youth minister, Bible School Teacher and Choral Director. In January 2006 he became Pulpit Minister of the Byhalia Church of Christ in Byhalia, MS.

Along with the duties of a husband, Father, full time employee at FedEx Trade Networks, & pulpit minister, he is a proud graduate the School of Religious Studies, In North, Little Rock, AR (Lloyd Harris, Pres.)

With the Lord as his strength and guide he hopes to take small things and make them great things.

Currently Bro Brownlee and his wife Renae labor to love and lift the lives of the East End Church of Christ in Memphis TN.
